Meet Alex, a Simley High School class of 2024 senior who chose to spend his senior photo session hiking at Afton State Park. Alex has spent a lot of time with his family growing up. Some of their favorite spots have been the Grand Canyon which they did last summer, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park, as well as their yearly trip up north. His favorite trip overall has been heading to Arizona and he's been able to visit a few times -- once with his family as well as a time with his golf team.

Lindsey and Luke first met when they just so happened to go on the same mission trip to Wyoming from their church. They hit it off right away and were soon serving alongside each other as volunteer youth leaders. A year later, they started dating, and a year after that were engaged. The fun part for me is that I met Lindsey when I was a youth leader and she saw the very newly married Mark and Lindsay in those days, so when she reached out that she was looking for a photographer to capture her wedding, it was so fun to chat with her again!
Meet David, a Park High School senior who enjoys football, wrestling, and MMA fighting. His plan for the future is to see where football takes him in college and he has some dreams about where that might be. For now, he also plans to focus on medical engineering wherever he goes. In his free time from sports, he works at Home Goods and beyond that, shared that he does not have a lot of other free time.
Have an awesome senior year, David! Thanks for the privilege to take your senior portraits and loved the splash pad ending! (This family is one awesome family because the couple has put their heart for others into action by adopting and fostering for as long as I have known them. They have opened their doors to countless kids needing a loving and safe place to grow up and now not only have kids but also some fun-loving grandkids in the mix! It was so much fun to catch up with them and capture their relationships as a family!
Summer September Night Portraits at the Mississippi River in Hastings, MN | The Esala-Yang Family9/21/2023 It is my joy and honor to share this fun family with you again! I've been taking their portraits for a number of years now. It is always a joy to watch the kids play and have a special relationship from year-to-year and this year they shared another fun relationship with me by bringing along their puppy to their mini session at Hastings' Lock and Dam 2.
