A Beautiful Second Chance to Celebrate Their Marriage at Jax's Café | Amy + Jeremy

Not every love story unfolds the way it's planned.

When this couple got married during the COVID pandemic, many of the moments they had dreamed about simply weren't possible. Like countless others, they chose marriage over waiting—but that meant celebrating without the wedding they had imagined.

This year, they decided it was finally time.

Surrounded by approximately 75 of their closest family members and friends at Jax's Café in Minneapolis, they created the celebration they had been waiting for. The afternoon began with a warm welcome from the bride's brother, who served as emcee before inviting everyone to witness a heartfelt vow renewal ceremony.

After exchanging promises once again, they shared something they had missed the first time around—their very first dance as husband and wife. It was a simple but deeply meaningful moment that perfectly reflected the joy of finally celebrating together.

The afternoon continued with delicious appetizers and hors d'oeuvres, heartfelt conversations, and meaningful moments shared with the people who had walked alongside them through every season. The bride's sister added a personal touch by singing, while her best friend gave a speech filled with memories, laughter, and encouragement.

One of our favorite parts of the day was seeing how much this celebration meant—not because it was extravagant, but because it was intentional. Every detail reflected gratitude for the journey that had brought them here.
