Neve’s senior session at Afton State Park felt especially meaningful because it captured such a huge transition season in her life. After growing up in Afton, Minnesota, she’s officially heading across the country to attend University of California, Los Angeles this fall to study psychology. Crimson Education connected us after hearing the exciting news about Neve’s college decision, and it was such an honor to help celebrate this moment. We spent the evening walking through the trails at Afton State Park alongside her mom, soaking in the peaceful views and documenting this chapter before life changes in a big way. Neve has always called Minnesota home, but she knew she wanted something different for college — especially a coastal location with a completely new environment and pace of life. UCLA ended up being the perfect fit. While preparing for this next step, she’s already shown so much dedication academically, completing PSEO coursework through the University of Minnesota while graduating in a class of around 700 students. Outside of school, Neve enjoys sailing, hiking, running, and Tae Kwon Do — she even taught it for a while! She loves being active and outdoors, which made Afton State Park such a fitting backdrop for her photos. Even with all the excitement of preparing for college and traveling back and forth to Los Angeles recently, she’s hoping to squeeze in one more senior trip before officially beginning this next adventure. One of her favorite recent family memories was a trip to Korea, which sparked even more excitement for exploring new places and experiences beyond Minnesota. Neve, congratulations on this incredible accomplishment. UCLA is lucky to have you, and I have no doubt this is only the beginning of an amazing journey ahead.
