Two weekends ago, I had the absolute joy of capturing family portraits for our dear friends, the Griffiths. Our friendship with Brady and Alyssa goes back many years to when we all met at Crown College. Brady was even a groomsman in our wedding, which makes these moments all the more special. I’ve been fortunate to document their family’s growth from the very beginning — I remember taking photos when they were announcing they were expecting their first baby! To be able to continue this tradition over the years has been such a privilege, and this latest session was no different. We decided to return to Crown College for their latest family photos, a place that holds so much history for all of us. It felt fitting to capture their latest chapter in the same place where so many of our stories began. After our session, the beautiful October day called for more time together. We spent the afternoon at a local park, and then treated ourselves to some delicious ice cream in downtown Waconia. The kids were thrilled, and we finished the day with a relaxed walk to another nearby park. It was one of those perfect Minnesota fall days, filled with sunshine, laughter, and the warmth of long-standing friendships. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to not only photograph this amazing family but also share in the memories that we continue to build together. Here’s to many more years of capturing their milestones! Brady and Alyssa, grateful to do life with you guys! Until next time!
