There’s something magical about a quiet morning in Shakopee’s Memorial Park, especially when golden hour light spills across the grass, dances off the water, and illuminates the flowers (especially baby's breath!) — wrapping everything in a warm glow. It was the perfect backdrop for celebrating Rose and Dennis as they await the arrival of their baby boy — now just a few weeks away at 33 weeks along. Rose stepped into the morning with a quiet confidence, the kind that seems to come from deep within. She radiated grace in both of her stylish outfits, each one highlighting her growing bump in its own beautiful way. Dennis stayed close, quietly steady, his love for her and their little one written all over his face in the way he looked at her, even in the smallest moments. We moved slowly through the park, letting the soft light and peaceful stillness set the tone. The trees framed them like something out of a painting, the early sun catching on their hair and bringing a golden warmth to every shot. Rose’s calm presence made the entire session feel unhurried, almost like time had paused just for them. One of my favorite things about photographing couples in this season is knowing these images will one day be more than just pictures. Someday, their son will see the way his mom glowed before meeting him and the way his dad stood beside her with quiet strength. As the morning light shifted, we wrapped up the session with a sense of anticipation lingering in the air — a little family on the edge of their greatest adventure yet. Rose and Dennis, I’m so excited for you both and can’t wait to see you step into this next chapter with your baby boy in your arms.
