There’s something truly special about revisiting a family's story over the years through photography. This fall, I had the joy of photographing the Edholm family on a perfect, crisp autumn evening. Our journey together began when we captured their engagement portraits at a picturesque vineyard in Wisconsin, followed by documenting their wedding day at a charming barn venue in Hudson. Now, the story continues with their beautiful family of four, featuring their newest member, baby Oliver. (And by newest, I mean like 2 weeks old!)

Capturing Iveth’s mini senior portraits was a joy and a glimpse into the journey she is preparing for. As a senior with aspirations to become a police officer, Iveth's determination and thoughtful approach to her future were evident in each photo we took. With dreams of possibly starting as a military police officer (MP) to gain early experience, her ambition shines through in her actions and conversations. 

I recently had the pleasure of reconnecting with the Rush family for a mini photo session at Lake Rebecca Park in Hastings, Minnesota. It has been a couple of years since I last captured them, so it was a joy to catch up and see how their family has grown! This sessions felt particularly special because, with Cali and Nathan,  we’ve shared so many milestones together over the years. I had the honor of taking their engagement portraits, capturing their wedding day, and even doing their maternity photos for their oldest child—at this very park, no less!

A little over a week ago, I had the pleasure of capturing family photos for the Lehman family at the beautiful Lake Rebecca Park in Hastings, Minnesota. The crisp October air and vibrant golden hour colors made for the perfect backdrop for their mini portraits. The Lehman family was a joy to work with, especially their three sweet girls. The youngest two are adorable twins, and all three share a love for music, participating in the Aspire Music Academy as one of their favorite extracurricular activities. 

Capturing the Ghandour family’s journey has been such a fun experience, and I’ve been fortunate to be there since their first sweet baby girl came into the world. It’s truly an honor to watch their family grow and evolve, and to document their love and energy through the years. Now, with three active kids, every session brings something new and wonderful. This time we got to explore Lake Rebecca Park in Hastings together.
