Summer Extended Family Photos at the Cabin | the Jacobs

When the full extended family can all be together at the cabin for a graduation party, you have to take family photos, right? That is what the Jacobs family did! Normally, we take their pictures around the Cottage Grove area. This summer they invited me to their family cabin in Wisconsin at the end of July to help them capture them all together before the big celebration!

I love the chance to see how families change throughout the years while simultaneously staying the same playful and fun-loving people. This crew sure enjoys hanging out together! I always love seeing their interactions and then when we get the chance to take individual shots of each kid. Plus, this fun family typically has a new member each year we take their photos!

Steve and Ann are the couple that started this crew. I love how relaxed and playful they are amidst all the different ages and stages, it is such a testament to their parenting and relationships with one another. They do such a great job managing the play and yet still keeping organized to get through the full crew.

Jacobs family, it has been such a privilege taking photos of your days throughout the years! Congrats on the latest graduation as well as the cute new little one! ​
