This was a romance straight out of the movies. The school security guard was called to help a teacher with a student's behavioral situation. Upon entering the classroom, the teacher (a beautiful young woman named Samantha) shares how she would like to handle it and asks for the ability to proceed with him there as backup. The security guard, Eric, stands back, the situation resolves, and he asks for her number. Yet gets nothing in return. Days go by and Eric receives Samantha's number through one of her friends, persuading her to go on a date. Soon they become an inseparable pair. Eric goes to meet her family and her dad is excited to finally have another man in the house -- he's been the only one for a long time with Samantha's two sisters and mom. Opposites attract. Eric is on the quieter side, whereas Samantha lives life out loud. Together, they laugh a lot. And now, they are married! They chose a perfect wedding venue called the Ridgetop in Wisconsin. The weather was a typical end-of-July day with the fun in full power, shining down most of the day. They didn't care. They hung out in their getting-ready spaces and shared crazy stories, relaxing and enjoying the day. Something else that entertained them? The tractor and wagon. Yes, the field behind the venue just so happened to be getting baled on the morning of their wedding. Seeing how the tractor cut and then threw the haybale into the air was rather intriguing! Plus, the work was finished in plenty of time before the ceremony and it allowed us later to sneak out of the reception to take their husband and wife golden hour photos in the freshly cut field! The emotions on the day were so precious. You can absolutely see that Eric is excited to marry the love of his life and the people around them could not be more excited for this new adventure. Our prayer is that as you continue in this new adventure, you'll continue to grow up and overflow with gratitude for one another while also digging deep into a solid foundation and remembering the roots of your relationship. We hope you both had a blast in Mexico for your honeymoon! Samantha, have an amazing school year; and, Eric, keep pressing on in the job!
