Meet Maria, one of the most amazing seniors headed to Park High School in a little over a month! Maria’s story is one of beautiful growth and transformation. I first met her when she was fostered by a loving family in our church. From the beginning, it was clear that Maria, despite the challenges of the past, had a bright spirit and immense heart for those around her. Over the years, she was adopted by her foster family, marking the start of a new chapter filled with love and support, we were beyond honored to be there to celebrate her and then to experience her being dedicated to the Lord with her family!

Watching Maria grow has been a privilege. She has grown in her passion for the musical and drama team, allowing her to shine on stage and connect deeply with others. Her involvement in our youth group further highlighted her kindness and positivity, making her a cherished member of our community. She is well loved by my children and can't walk by our house without being stopped to talk with.
Now, as Maria stands on the cusp of adulthood, her excitement for the future is palpable. She is currently exploring the possibility of attending law school, a choice that reflects her ambition and desire to make a difference. Maria’s experiences have equipped her with a unique perspective and resilience, qualities that will undoubtedly serve her well in the legal field. Maria’s journey is a testament to her strength and the power of community support, but most importantly to the God who is with her. Her story reminds us of the incredible potential of life with Him and the impact that love and encouragement can have.
