On a beautiful summer evening at Oakwood Park in Cottage Grove, I had the pleasure of photographing Haley and James for their maternity portraits. The weather was absolutely perfect—a gentle breeze and cooler temperatures created an ideal setting for their chosen long-sleeve outfits. The soft summer light and serene atmosphere of the park provided a stunning backdrop for this special moment in their lives.

Haley, glowing at 38 weeks pregnant, radiated joy and excitement as she and James prepared to welcome their baby boy. Their love story is adorable: they met in college up north and have been together for three years, celebrating their first wedding anniversary before embarking on this new chapter of parenthood. Their chemistry was palpable, and it was evident how much they cherish each other and the little one on the way!

Oakwood Park offered a blend of natural beauty and the city life that they call home, enhancing the specialness of their portraits.
