It’s hard to put into words just how much this family means to us. We’ve walked through so many seasons together—from when there was just one little one to now, with six beautiful kids here on earth. Watching their family grow and seeing the way they continue to lean on God and one another through both the highs and lows has been such a gift. We met at Lock & Dam 2 in Hastings for their session, and the evening could not have been more perfect. The golden light danced over the river as the kids explored the shoreline—throwing rocks, finding sticks, and laughing through silly photos together. Their joy and playfulness are contagious! Sweet Eddie, the youngest, is so loved by his siblings—each one taking turns hugging, snuggling, and doting on him.

Lori is one of the most graceful moms I know—steady, kind, and full of love. Stephen leads their family with humility and transparency, always pointing to God in both words and actions. Together, they’ve built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and faith.

We’ve also been so blessed by their extended family—Lori’s parents, who have opened their home for our fall festival and served faithfully around church in some big projects, and Lori’s brother Jason, who has absolutely earned the title of “funcle.” The kids adore him for all the fun and energy he brings. (And not just his own nieces and nephews think so!)

I am unbelievably grateful for this family—for the way they love us, share their time, gifts, and hearts, and truly live life alongside us. Their lives shine with the love of Christ, and it’s a joy to capture a glimpse of that in photos each year.
