The Second Most Important Detail

Quality of light is the most important detail outside of the subject. While it takes some discipline and searching, it can be found most anywhere. We recommend our senior portrait sessions to stick as close to sunrise or sunset. The more you get towards the middle of the day, the more harsh shadows and over-exposure.

The location for portraits is the stage for your session and images. Do you love the city life? Are you an outdoor person? Do you enjoy more of a vintage, small town feel? With your taste in mind, we strive to find interesting locations that have a good variety of light, color, and textures. Our senior photography sessions are shot on location throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding area
