A deep breath. They had successfully closed on the house. Everything was moved in. Family was in town. It was time to relax – at least a little bit. Andrea left the house for a short period of time, leaving Charlie just enough time to get ready. He had a card up his sleeve. Family was important to the both of them, so the fact that everyone was in town made the timing for the proposal just right. He scattered flowers around the house and smiled as he thought about all of their fun memories leading up to this point and to the many new exciting memories that would come. He giggled as he remembered going ring shopping with Andrea for over two hours, even though that first ring or two was definitely the one. He thought back to their years at Iowa State and meeting their first weekend of class freshman year but how they had been friends for four years before starting to date. He remembered all the great times of hanging outdoors, hiking, or even cheering on the Steelers & the Vikings. Today would be the day that they’d take the next step.
Charlie and Andrea, we are sooo excited about your wedding day! You two rocked your engagement photos, even with the the bow hunting opener going on. One of my favorite things about you two is how you made me feel like an instant old friend. Your joy in getting married is so contagious. Your genuine interest and love for others is inspiring. I love how you to were such naturals in front of the camera and weren’t afraid to laugh it up or have a tickle fight – it sure made me laugh! You were even willing to adventure into the middle of the street for the fun night time shot. Can’t wait to capture your wedding photos at Ushers Ferry!
