I always love the adventures that photography takes me on. It’s such a privilege and honor, and to hang with awesome people while doing it? All the more amazing! This was definitely the case when we got to hang out with Dan & Rachel again for Dan’s daughter, Carol’s, senior photos. Rachel reached out saying they’d like me to take them, and we were all for heading back to hang with the horses, err we mean, them (just kidding, guys, you’re totally cool!) Rachel went on to explain that Carol not only wanted to take her senior photos with horses but also with smoke bombs, which presents a bit of a tricky situation as far as location goes. With this in mind, we chose to take them at their family home in Farmington. Speaking of Farmington, that’s where Carol is a senior. She’s been super active in band, already has her plans for next year worked out after she graduates, and in her free time loves all the animals. We’re talking cats, dogs, and horses – her favorite fella made a significant appearance during her senior photos here as you can see! Carol, thanks for a chilly but oh-so-fun night walking your everyday trails and talking about where life is taking you. I’m so excited for your next adventure and pray that you will be able to dig in some deep roots, stand strong, and overcome the challenges that will be presented to you! Keep being who you’ve been uniquely created to be, keep laughing lots with your dad & Rachel, and keep in mind that each day is a new day – so don’t worry about tomorrow until it comes. So excited to hear of your new adventures and to find a time to come and ride those horses with you all without the camera gear and fear of Mark with a broken knee ;) Enjoy that senior year!
