Kirstin & Ethan's Romantic MN State Park Engagement Session // Afton State Park

You wouldn’t believe the amount of times that people tell us they have no idea how or don’t like to take photos. Seriously, as wedding and portrait photographers, we hear it ALL THE TIME. Ethan and Kirstin may be one of those couples. They may have mentioned that they only have a handful of photos of their entire relationship because they really don’t like taking them and don’t know what to do. And yet, once again, we have two completely natural and awesome people in front of the cameras that you’ll see below!

Ethan and Kirstin showed up with Kirstin’s awesome sister, Natalie, who was on paw patrol with an adorable little pup named Annie! Don’t worry, you’ll see Annie featured in a few photos below! She was a total Rockstar for her photo session debut! Kirstin and Ethan said that it was their first family photo. These two are awesome Northwestern University graduates getting married this summer. We had so much fun with these two during their engagement portraits and even managed to bring our little Chloe with – our first time bringing a child along for a session ever! They had said prior to the session she might help them keep smiling, but we barely saw her the entire session because she slept the ENTIRE time (like a pro) on her daddy’s chest in the ergobaby! 

Kirstin and Ethan, we are so excited to hang out with you two again! We LOVE the way you two look at each other. We can tell that not only do you two have a solid friendship in how you relate, but there is also such a deep love in your eyes when you glance at one another! We are praying that the final pieces fall together as you plan your big day and that you’re spending time growing in how you relate to one another just as much! P.S. Tell Annie she’s welcome anytime!
