Would you believe it if we shared that the first thing these two said during their dreamy winter engagement photos once we had slipped and slid our way through the ice and climbed the rocks at Taylors Falls Interstate Park to this spot was, “We have no idea how to pose for photos.” Yup. I promise, it’s what they said! We quickly assured them that that’snormal and that’s why we’re here! In fact, it’s so normal that we’ve worked hard to create simple posing that by the end of the session and even after the session, they can pose themselves and even probably describe them to someone else. We first met Lindsey & Travis at Rebecca & Connor’s wedding two summers ago – wow has time flew by! Lindsey was Becca’s maid of honor -- and a beautiful one at that -- dressed in a gorgeous blush dress. We had so much fun getting to know her throughout the day and then at the reception during dinner we had Travis sit at our table with us. We quickly learned that he was dating Lindsey, that she and him had met at Spectrum High School which is where I, Lindsay, graduated from a few years prior. He shared a bit of their story and was super fun to talk to. On the way home, we talked about how we thought those two would be getting married someday for sure and how we would love to be their wedding photographers! Here we are now, getting to hang out with them and laugh so much as we literally slid on our butts down icy steps, held onto trees as we climbed, and tried not to freeze too much for their engagement photos.
Lindsey and Travis, thanks so much for trusting us to be your photographers! We are seriously so excited to watch you two step into this new chapter of your lives and are so honored to get to document it! Your wedding day will be here before we know it!
