The Grand at Mulligans banquet room was full, each wedding guest with their eyes locked on the bride and groom as the best man stood up to give his speech. “Matt, you’ve found the person who is perfect for you… the person who completes you… your best friend. That person was born 19 years ago... It’s me,” said Ben. Everyone burst into laughter as Matt and Laura exchanged a loving glance with one another and smirked at Matt’s younger brother.

This laughter was a common theme all throughout Matt and Laura’s day. There was joy that couldn’t help but escape through giggles, squeals, and smiles at each moment. The sheer excitement when Laura revealed her final look in her wedding dress to her bridesmaids, the rush of emotions as Matt took his first look at his stunning bride as she took step after step closer to him down the aisle, the laughter of the groomsman as they tried to get their timing right to do their “High School Musical” shot during the wedding portrait time… each moment showing the pure joy of Matt and Laura’s friends and family coming alongside to support them in this new adventure.

Matt and Laura, you two are so perfect together! If you hadn’t previously told us your story and had asked us how long we thought you’d known each other, we would’ve guessed you grew up together! Your chemistry, compatibility, and overall ease of being around each other leaves us nothing but amazed and so excited for you as you continue to journey into the married stage of life. You didn’t grow up together, you didn’t meet each other in high school and you didn’t even go to the same college – one at NDSU and the other at St. Cloud State. You two met when you were in a class of eight at x-ray school where your passion for how you treated others around you and cared so deeply about your work drew you two together. We pray that this passion continues to draw you closer to one another! Hope you enjoyed your Alaskan honeymoon!
