And just like that it is spring! And we are back! It has been a very wintry winter, but just like the adorable light purple flowers popping through the dirt that the kids had fun looking at during their family maternity photos at Leduc Estates, there is new life on the horizon. And it is not just for creation, but also for this special family in soon becoming a family of seven.

While we have not seen them in far too long, we met Onna and Noah back when we were in college. Onna and I were friends throughout college, and when I think of her, I am brought back to the freshman experience, brought back to having her spend the night at my parents’ house and playing silly games, and then brought back to early marriage and hosting friends for dinner in our very small college apartment. Life before marriage, life before kids… a distant dream, while at the same time, it does not seem like that long ago – yet where did all these kids come from? This once again reminds me of the need to document this stage of life as it goes by so quickly and has me so excited for what the year ahead with other families and people will bring!
 
Onna and Noah, it was so fun to see you guys! Your kids are adorable, and we are so excited for you as you meet your new little one soon! We pray that you will adjust to this new addition well and that you feel guided on your next steps in life. Thanks so much for asking me to document this special stage of life and saying yes to a last second impromptu invite to come eat ice cream on the patio while the kids played. Much love!
