When you start out a session and the couple says they just came from test driving BMWs, anyone who knows Mark and his obsession with cars knows that he was instantly drooling at the mouth. We had so much fun getting to hang out with Cody and Pam last Saturday in downtown Minneapolis at the Stone Arch Bridge and along Saint Anthony Main for their engagement photos! Yes, it was super windy, but it was at least 35 degrees compared to our last engagement session at -12, so it took a bit of the bite away from the wind. Cody and Pam met online. He lived in Michigan; she lived in Minnesota. Since he was a truck driver, Cody had the opportunity to relocate to Minnesota to be closer to Pam (seem like Déjà vu? You’re not crazy – Kari and Michael’s story from two weeks ago is pretty similar!) These two are pretty laid back, and as we wandered about in the cold, they shared that they’re content just hanging indoors watching Netflix or otherwise going mini golfing or bowling. As Pam puts it, she tags along so Cody can get a good laugh at her “awesome skills.” They do love to explore the outdoors when it’s not as chilly. Showing Cody around the cities and adventuring is something they both enjoy.
Cody and Pam, we had so much fun hanging out with you two! We loved how willing you were to do whatever we asked of you, even to stare into that awesome white wall longer than what would be considered normal ;) Cody, we appreciated your honesty in saying you hate photos, but we still totally don’t believe you as you knocked it out of the park and we couldn’t keep you from smiling! Pam, we loved seeing your love of orange and Converse shoes coming together on the session! We’re so excited for you two to take this next step and can see that you two are so natural in each other’s arms, complimenting one another so well! Blessings on your marriage!
