Any session that involves a pause to play with two adorable eight-week-old puppies is a plus in my book. Getting to hang out with Sanna and her mom at Highlands Park in Cottage Grove for her senior portraits? Even better. This girl is so sweet! She definitely seems like the type of girl you'd want to have as a lifelong friend -- confident in who she is, compassionate to the people and things around her, easy to talk to, enjoys playing or watching sports, and all about animals (especially cats and llamas). We spent most of the shoot walking, talking, and joking about how we were also getting our step count in! 

Sanna, congrats on your senior year at Park High School! I am so excited to see what these next years will bring for you as you look towards becoming some sort of an engineer. Keep your eyes focused on the prize and run the race as there will be many things in your path that will try to distract you and divert your attention! Find and stay connected with friends who will run this race and encourage you on this journey, leaving behind those who add burdens or pull other directions. Most of all, enjoy your senior year!
