Stebbing Family // Family Portraits at Cottage Grove Ravine Park

Want absolutely gorgeous weather for a family photo session? We hear you! And we can’t help but think of that end of summer and beginning of fall moment. The air is comfortable, the sun is gorgeous before kiddos’ bedtimes, and the colors are just starting to change. There is also that excitement in the air in the changing of seasons as we end one and look forward to another. This is exactly the beautiful weather we got for the Stebbing family’s photo session. It was so fun to connect with them at Cottage Grove Ravine’s Park along the waterfront dock and soak up the final sunshine rays of the day as we talked and walked along.

Megan’s eight year old daughter had requested that they wear matching dresses -- how cute is that?! I said I absolutely agree that a mommy and me attire is then a must, because I think all moms later on in life would say that there comes a day that they no longer want to match. So, enjoy it and capture the moment while you can! Those are those little moments we love to capture and the stories that we love to tell. The specialness of the relationships at this stage, the silly faces with each other, and the joy as you kiss your mom’s cheek or twirl in your dad’s arms – so unbelievably priceless! It is always a pleasure to step in to capture these moments and this night was no exception.
