One of the most amazing parts of being a professional photographer is preserving precious memories for families, freezing moments into timeless memories to be relived over and over again. This fall, we’ve had the pleasure of hanging out with dozens of families and it has been so rewarding. Knowing that these photos will be benchmarks for years to come, that they’ll be conversation starters to bring up old memories, that they will be handed out at Christmas and placed on the walls of a home warms my heart. The Bakri family is one of those families. In fact, this is my second time hanging out with them this year, I got to do Liam’s newborn session and it’s so fun to see how he has grown in the past few months! I so enjoyed meeting with them again and exploring Spring Lake Park Reserve’s gorgeous land. They are so kind, easygoing, fun-loving, and were such troopers with the colder weather!
My favorite moment from the shoot was little Liam poking his eyes out from behind the big blanket he was bundled in. He looked so cute and cozy in his mom, Sarah’s, arms. Another highlight of this shoot was when Liam’s older sister gave him a sweet kiss when we had finished their sibling shot and I thankfully hadn’t put my camera down yet. Bakri family, it was so fun to see you all! I love the way you all looked so natural in front of the camera. You were so laid back and relaxed that it made the shoot pure joy and such a fun time! It was so wise bringing Grandma Karen along as she was a great help and fun addition! Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your family photos. I had a great time!
