I had the huge pleasure of dropping by this fun Cottage Grove household on Black Friday to do a family portrait session! In our family, it's a rare occassion when all of the adult kids are able to be home together so I bet that's the same for Shelley & Dan's household. Being invited to document the preciousness of all of these relationships is always a huge honor and lots of fun!

This group obviously has a great time relaxing and hanging out together -- with lots of fun inside jokes and silly stories. My favorite part of the shoot was when I was taking some photos of the siblings and I wanted a more candid shot, so I said, "Okay! Now tickle fight!" to which one of the girls screamed, "TICKLE FIGHT!" and proceeded to start attacking her brother, shocking the entire group with her zeal for tickling. We laughed a lot during this fun session!

Shelley, Dan, & awesome kids! Thanks so much for the fun and laughter! You were awesome with your unique posing ideas -- especially the tug of war moment. I'm so glad you took the time to get some portraits done as all too often we forget the importance of freezing the moment into a lasting memory. Praying that you've all adjusted back to the normal schedule until you can get together next for more fun!
