The Hobbs Family // Stillwater Ice Castles

When you get a text from a friend saying that her hubby and her plan to take their boys to the Stillwater Ice Castles and are wondering if you would like to go with them and take some photos, you of course clear time in your schedule to join in! It was so much fun catching up with the Hobbs family and hanging out along the St. Croix River in Stillwater to take some fun family photos of them getting to explore the ice castles! If you haven’t been to the ice castles in Stillwater yet, there isn’t much time left so don’t delay – they’re fun! I recommend visiting on a weekday as it's not quite as crowded as it is on the weekends and don't forget your snow gear!

​Their two adorable boys, Coen and Keelan, are about six months older than our two boys so it’s so fun to watch how much they comprehend and interact with the world, knowing that our boys will be there soon. We had so much fun running around playing tag, pulling the boys around on sleds, and watching the cool and colored water works from the ice sculpture – note to self: don’t try to compete with water works when trying to take photos ;) One of my favorite parts of the session was when Coen walked into the ice tunnel and realized how big and cool it was – his eyes were so wide and he was loving it!

Hobbs family – you guys are so fun! We love seeing how your boys have grown and how they love to be true Minnesotans and hang in the outdoors. We love how you, Terry and Sindy, encourage Coen and Keelan to explore and grow, and are so patient when things don’t always go as planned when little ones join in on the fun! Keep pressing on in this busy, exciting rollercoaster of a stage. We love you all!
