I’m not sure where to begin with Trav and Samantha’s in-home lifestyle portrait session in Newport, MN. How about the minute we got back in the car, Mark said, “I could see ourselves hanging out with them often -- they’re so cool”? He wasn’t just talking about Trav and Samantha’s adorable dogs, Hunter & Lilly, either (who we definitely spent most of the time playing with). 

​Samantha and Trav are two new homeowners and, in fact, built this beautiful home after finding that the buying process wasn’t proving successful for them. They’ve had a long journey in it for sure, but as Samantha wrote in an email, she loves to get at least one portrait session a year and this year it’ll be after the house is finished to show the light at the end of the tunnel. As you’ll see in the pictures below, this house is for sure a gorgeous light! All the painstaking hours and moments of choosing details, colors, and trim have finally come to a close and now the Lemays can do life together in it. Plus, it was done just in time for their first anniversary which was a few days ago. Happy belated anniversary, you two! 
 
Trav and Samantha, we are so excited that you are in your new home and can now enjoy making memories in it! We loved the precious details you’ve created like the “cord of three strands” wall plaque in commemoration of your wedding day, the fun sign Trav created of your last names and special dates, and all the toys scattered throughout for your adorable and loveable dogs! Thank you so much for the honor of welcoming us into your stunning new home, letting us play with your dogs and Hunter stealing Mark’s heart, and being so fun to photograph! We pray that this next year of marriage will continue to draw you two closer and that your cord will grow all the stronger!
