Daniel and Anna met on Bumble three years ago. The attraction was mutual, and they decided to meet up with each other for their first date. They met each other at the show “Jesus Christ Superstar” — which they now admit was a rather unique first date in that they did not get to chat face-to-face like so many couples choose, but it was the perfect choice for them. They went out to chat afterwards after sitting shoulder-to-shoulder, enjoying the show and have been inseparable since. They love to spend their time traveling and being outdoors hiking, camping, and riding bikes, so it was only natural that we picked Afton State Park as the spot for their engagement portraits — and the fall colors did not disappoint! “This was my person,” Anna says about how she knew she wanted to marry Daniel about six months into their relationship. Daniel says the moment he knew he wanted to marry her was on a camping trip, so keeping with the outdoor love, he proposed at Fort Snelling State Park by the water on Labor Day. They spent the weekends since then traveling to different spots in Minnesota to soak in all that fall has to offer — which apparently meant a rather chilly, snow-filled weekend as well (thanks, Minnesota…). With how much our world has changed and how these two just love to be together, they have chosen to get married next May with immediate family and a laid back family dinner. I think we all have seen how important it is to spend time with those who matter most and seize the day! Daniel & Anna, we had so much fun walking amidst the leaves and golden sunlight for your engagement photos, and we can’t wait to photography your wedding day next May! Hope you’re able to get out the next few weekends to enjoy more of the outdoors with the warmer temps!
