We didn’t realize we’d fall in love with so many aspects about being a photographer and one of the best parts is how you get to walk alongside someone in life. We love people, so the opportunity to serve and love on people is a huge honor. But, the opportunity to come alongside a family and watch the family grow from year-to-year is an even bigger honor!

​We first met the Bakri family a year ago to take the newborn photos of little Liam. I still remember how adorable and tiny he was as his daddy who was dressed in his US Navy uniform held him in his arms. We then got to see them again later that fall to do a family photo session at the beautiful Spring Lake Park Reserve.
 
To come full circle and now take Liam’s first year photos is such a blessing to be trusted with such a privilege. Every time we get together, I feel like only a few weeks have passed as we have such a fun time together! It’s also fun because grandma is almost always nearby to help. PHOTO SESSION PRO TIP: If you can have an extra hand come along to help with kids during a photo shoot, definitely do it! This time we even got to meet grandpa, who I was quickly informed and saw with my own eyes how much of a baby whisperer he is.
 
Bakri family, thank you for another fun adventure! I so enjoyed catching up with you all on the excitement of a new school year, the ability to get more projects done as the older kiddos are at school, and see how big Liam is getting! We pray that these photos are an encouragement to you and something you can look back on in years to come, remembering this precious stage of life.
