Erika, 2020 Park High School Senior Photos // Cottage Grove Portrait Photographer

I think one of the coolest things about high school seniors today is that they are often not "just seniors" but are already working on their college degree. Am I wanting them to rush through their high school experience? No! But, as a college grad from a private school, I totally understand that college can get very expensive quick and getting as much time doing PSEO done helps keep the student loan debt that much more at bay. This is the case for Park High School senior, Erika, who is currently a PSEO student at Inver Hills Community College. She shared during her senior photos that by the time she graduates, she should have about a year and a half of college credits done -- way to go, Erika!

When Erika isn't busy with school work, she's also balancing a part-time job at Caribou Coffee (I'm headed there in a few hours, so we'll see if we bump into each other) as well as helping out others with babysitting needs. When she does have free time, she loves to paint and wants to get back into playing the piano.


It was so fun hanging out with Erika; she said she didn't want her senior photos to be "basic", and I think you can see from these photos that she is anything but! She's a fun-loving, gorgeous girl who has some serious photo skills -- I barely had to coach her!


Erika, it was a pleasure hanging out again! I can't wait to see where you'll take your next steps after high school. For now, enjoy the moments where you can stop to paint, play the piano, and breathe because life goes by too quick to not enjoy it.
