I know I’ve shared this on a past family photo blog post of this fun family before, but we first met this precious family at Cottage Grove library’s story time for little ones. I had Ethan and he was only a few months old when I met Sindy and her son, Coen. Since then, we’ve both added on to our families and it’s been an honor to walk alongside them documenting precious family moments in the ups and downs of life. It’s crazy to think so much time has flown by. In a world that everything has seemed to stop and just somewhat start back up again, each time I look at my children, I am both thrilled and frustrated to see how much bigger, how much stronger, how much wiser, and how much un-baby-like they are becoming. Both of our oldest boys will be heading into kindergarten this next year. How did my few month year old boy become a five year and few month year old boy? I’m once again reminded of how truly important it is to document the precious moments before they are gone. To pull out those phones for a quick moment capture and then hide them away to live in it. To look back and say, remember when we used to have to wear masks anywhere public indoors? To be able to see the cute little baby rolls and how quickly they disappeared in the coming year once walking. Hobbs Family, loved getting to see how your two boys have grown again and your adorable little lady! I loved seeing their different personalities – Coen’s love for music, Keelan’s love to catch tree frogs, and Giana’s watchful eyes on her big brothers and curiosity of all the fun new things in her world! Enjoy celebrating her first birthday and the last few days of summer!
