What’s cooler than documenting a family growing over the past few years? Documenting one of your closest college-couple friends growing their family over the past few years! Brady and Alyssa are that such couple and we have loved capturing every moment! Whether it’s been family photos, maternity portraits, a lifestyle portrait session, a baby announcement, or a gender reveal, we’ve had SO many memories created walking alongside these two! And it’s all been in the beautiful backyard of Minnesota - got to love the beauty of this state!

​Brady and Alyssa, you two are rock stars! We’ve so enjoyed our friendship with you, we have loved our boys knowing each other, and we can’t wait to be fellow girl-parents together – especially in about 16 more years!! But mostly…We can’t wait to see you loving on your baby girl and see how Elijah will be a stud of a big brother! We’re praying for the right timing and protection of Eliana’s delivery. Can’t wait to meet her!
 
P.S. – This might surprise you, but I think Brady and Alyssa would agree that it’s sometimes NOT easy taking photos with a toddler. Taking family portraits in a new place, with a new face behind a new camera is a lot to take in! When you see the finished photos, you don’t see the marshmallow bribery or toddler timeouts that sometimes are needed throughout the time to help little ones feel their best! So to other fellow mamas out there looking for ways to make a session run smoothly, don’t sweat it! Littles are definitely tricky, but capturing the real them in motion and the quick (sometimes VERY quick) sweet moments doesn’t all rest on your shoulders. But if you want an idea for a mid-session pick-me-up for the kiddos, it doesn’t hurt to bring mini marshmallows: they’re white (aka no residue or if it peeks out with a smile it can pass as a tooth) and a perfect small little treat along the way!
