What’s more cute than a little lady turning one and having family photos on her birthday? A little lady turning one dressed in an adorable pineapple romper alluding to her nickname of “Palm” all while getting family photos on her birthday. What a mouthful! Aka – family photos and a birthday girl at Highland Park in Cottage Grove? Yes, please! Especially if it means we get to run around in the grass, laugh, and play before the mosquitoes come out in the late evening of an August night! Got to love summer and summer family photos! The most precious thing about this shoot was how curious the little miss was and especially how she watched her big brother being so silly! It reminds me of our little lady and how she is always soaking up what her two big brothers are doing. The only difference is that our Chloe is used to seeing the camera in her mommy’s arms and pointed at her direction, where this sweetheart was a bit perplexed about that big black thing that makes clicking sounds and the new face that she could somewhat see behind the camera covered by a mask. Either way, Hemmah family, thanks for reaching out to me to capture this precious stage! Thanks for trusting me to continue on your tradition taking photos on the actual birthday of your child! Thanks for chatting about the differences of this up and coming school year and in general how life has changed. We hope this new school year brings more moments to learn and grow, to encourage one another and build each other up amidst new adversaries, and to love out loud! Hope you enjoyed the rest of that gorgeous evening and the kids weren’t too wound up from all the fun before bedtime! Have a great last few weeks of summer!
