 Joy. This would be the word best used to describe Chris and Rob on their wedding day at Almquist Farms. They were beaming from head-to-toe unbelievable joy -- on and off the camera. Their guests were beaming for excitement of these two becoming one. Their adult kids beamed join sharing their encouragement and agreement that this relationship is good and important to each of them. Joy. Unbelievable joy. The source of it? Chris and Rob would say Jesus Christ. These two met at their church Eagle Brook's single group. They apparently missed each other the first gathering, but shortly after found themselves the only two who showed up for the group walk. As they walked, they begin to see that they had more in common than they thought and their shared passion for God and how He carries them through hard times put them into a similar path. The more they walked that path in the days to become, they developed a friendship that they realized that this relationship would be one that would be more than a friendship in days to come. Their original group that they met with? That’s the group that you see taking the selfie in the photos below and a big part of the wedding crowd on this day. It was so great to see an amazing group of joyful, grateful people who loved each other so beautifully. Chris and Rob, thank you so much for trusting me to come alongside you and capture your wedding day photos! My favorite part of the day was seeing how you pointed to Christ throughout all of it and that your love for Jesus overflowed into your love for those around you. Chris, you greeted me with such a warm and genuine hug when I arrived and I felt a part of the crew throughout the day versus someone just there to document it and I thank you for that! Hope you continue to overflow with the love, joy, and gratitude for God and one another in the days to come!
