It all started in a college class. These two just so happened to both take it and after meeting Sierra, Andrew decided he wanted to get to know her more. When he realized she was doing tennis, that meant he decided, “Sure, why not try tennis?” They soon spent their bus rides talking as well as walking to and from practice just hanging out and getting to know each other more. The rest? History – well, not quite yet! These two were soon inseparable, especially when it came to playing sports around Crown College’s beautiful campus, enjoying different leadership positions while at school, and simultaneously growing in their relationship together and closer with God. It should be no surprise then that since so much of their relationship has happened while at Crown College, they have chosen to have their wedding day in October at…Crown College. Sierra and Andrew are two sweethearts who are super laid back people. They smile so naturally as they walk along with one another. They were giggling and laughing their way through their engagement portraits at Centennial Lakes in Edina. They shared how they have just recently got the apartment that they plan to live in once married, so shared all the excitement of how Andrew was able to move in the day that very day right before their engagement photos. It is always so fun to get to be around engaged couples, I love seeing the glimmer in their eyes and cannot help but feel re-energized by the small loving touches and side glances they make to one another. Ten years of marriage have taught us that while we want to grow deeper in our relationship, we still want to try to capture that initial interest and intentionally set aside moments to go back to just us two – like the engaged days. Sierra and Andrew, we pray you two will cherish these days, build an amazing marriage even more so than an amazing wedding day, and continue to lovingly reach for each other in the rest of your years to come!
