Summer Sunset Family Photos in Minnesota // The Andersons

On average, a bridal consultation takes 45 minutes. Sometimes we get through it in 30 minutes, often we take an hour, but never have we sat down with a couple and talked for almost two hours like we did with Rachel and Dan when we all got together. We would have sat and chatted even longer I’m sure if it wasn’t for the fact that I needed to get back to feed our little baby girl! We are so excited to be Dan and Rachel’s wedding photographers this week, but we wanted to get a chance to share some of their fun engagement photos that we got to take while exploring the backside of Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan, MN last week.

Dan is originally from New York and moved to Minnesota when his dad came out here for a job. Rachel is a born-and-bred Minnesotan. These two love to spend their time together horseback riding, motorcycling, and outdoors. Stay tuned for their wedding day which they plan on incorporating some of their horses! As far as how they met, Dan realized that he didn’t have an great woman friendships in his life which he knew was important with raising three girls, so Dan put a post online that he was looking strictly for a friend – nothing else. A couple days later they went on their first “not-date” and a few short days later, went on a date-date. Within three months, Dan knew that he wanted to marry Rachel, he just needed the right timing. So, last January 1st, him and all three daughters got on their knees to propose to Rachel to which she definitely said, “YES!”
