If it has not been clear, I love my job. Seriously, how cool is it to hang out with amazing people and capture the specialness of their relationship? So beyond #blessed. Matt & Laura here are the best! We first connected back when they were engaged and had the honor of photographing their wedding day at the Grands at Mulligan (you can see that fun here). We then went on to be able to capture their maternity photos last year, and now we’re capturing their family of three with little Nolan here!

Nolan was beyond a rockstar for this photo session! He did not seem to get the memo that they were hoping for fall colors for their photos but instead were given multiple inches of snow and a rather chilly wind! But that did not stop this little one’s joy and excitement to be outdoors! What a little cutie he was! We definitely had fun bringing out some of his favorite stuff animals to keep his focus, but other than that, the smiles came no matter what! And if you had the pleasure of being at Matt and Laura’s wedding day, the cowbell made a reappearance for their family photos — and little Nolan loved it!

Matt and Laura, huge congrats on such a cute little buddy! You can tell he is head-over-heels for both of you and loving life, which is a huge credit to you both in raising him — let alone amidst a pandemic. We wish you nothing but the best! Enjoy celebrating his first birthday soon!
