I’ve had clients ask when golden hour is – that elusive term that photographers use and often don’t explain and if you’re curious what that means, look no further than the Griffith family’s fall mini photos here. Golden hour is the time of day where the sun makes everything pop. Where yes, light still comes through the trees, but instead of overexposing each spot, it highlights its features and almost seems to give that angel effect of light streaming in on a person. What time of day does it come you ask? Shortly after sunrise and before sunset. And speaking of angels, how cute are the Griffith’s two kiddos? We sure love Elijah and little Eliana! If you haven’t seen Brady and Alyssa’s photos before on our page, we go way back with these two (think college before either of us were married). We have many stories that’ll make us laugh until we could cry and have shared moments where we did in fact cry. This is what’s beautiful about life – when we’re able to find those who will walk with us through it and encourage us to press on in our pursuit of God in the days that we feel we can’t take another step, another day, another toddler tantrum. Brady and Alyssa are one such couple that do so humbly, altruistically, and naturally – who make you laugh and sit with you in moments when you’re trying not to cry. Griffith family, cannot wait for the next family sleepover. Seriously, you two and your kids are so precious to us, and we are so grateful to call you friends! It has been such a privilege to walk through life with you personally and also from the photography world – starting with the announcement of your first child, onto pregnancy, family photos and more family photos, gender reveal, maternity photos for baby two, and more family photos. Just so fun! Keep pressing on!
