I love summer family photos! The beautiful weather and the chance to run around with adorable kiddos in God’s creation while taking their photos is beyond an honor. The beautiful weather doesn’t always come, and life doesn’t always work perfectly as planned, so this was our third time trying to take the photos. We finally had a night that would work, so we seized the evening and enjoyed our time at Highlands Park for their family photos. I loved watching Michael help his son throw sticks into the pond while Bethany held their sweet little girl, and she snuggled up with her mommy. These are the special moments that will be frozen for years to come. Moments that they’ll look back on and say, “Remember when…” or “You used to….” This is the reason behind why I do what I do. I love to walk alongside families and help them capture the current stage they are in, so they can look back on it for years to come. Yes, we absolutely want the staged, everyone looking at the camera moments, but it’s also the real moments of family interactions that make your heart pitter patter for years to come. Michael and Bethany, thanks so much for being so patient in the process! I was so grateful to finally meet your little family, and I hope to see you around in the area in the coming years! Have a wonderful summer!
