In-Home Newborn Portraits, Savage, MN // The Kasper Family

Newborn babies? Yes, please! It was so fun to meet up with Melanie & Anthony to photograph their beautiful baby girl in the home that they built together! We first met these two at Nathan & Cali’s wedding almost two years ago! I was pregnant with our third little one, and my sister-in-law was also at the wedding pregnant with their first kiddo who ended up being born a few days later! Since then, we’ve also had the honor to capture Nathan & Cali’s maternity photos and a lifestyle session with their sweet little girl! All this to say, small world and so fun to come full circle to now capture the Kasper’s newborn photos in their beautiful home!

Sweet little Everly was born three weeks early and even with coming early, her dad said that life adjusting to a newborn has been fairly boring! (Which I would say is probably a good thing amidst everything going on in our world right now!) The ones having the hardest time with the adjustment? The cats. Yup! Their two fun cats are getting used to not being the center of attention -- anyone else think of Lady & the Tramp? We had multiple moments of the cats coming to check out what we were doing and try to sneak into our backgrounds – which made us giggle!

Melanie & Anthony, congrats on a beautiful & healthy, precious baby girl! Love the name and her room was sooo cute! We hope that the days continue to stay boring in the sense of not too much stress and craziness with a newborn, that you two are able to continue to date each other and build a strong foundation for your sweet little lady to grow up in, and that you stay healthy! Thanks for allowing us to document this timeless stage!
