How cute are the stories where the guy immediately knows the girl is someone he wants to be with, yet the girl needs a bit more coaxing to come around? This was the case for Isaiah and Kayley; he immediately thought she was dating material, and she was trying to decide if she wanted to friendzone him or not. As you can see, we’re writing their wedding photos blog post though, so something obviously changed. Kayley’s family said he’s a nice guy, so why not continue to be friends and see where things lead. Well, you see where they led: their very own ranch backyard intimate wedding in Farmington. If you asked us earlier on in their wedding day, we would have said that by far the way these two look at each other and the fun that they have with each other is our favorite part of this couple; but then, in their reception, Isaiah got down on one knee (no, not to propose again, that would be confusing), rolled up his sleeves, and washed his beautiful new bride’s feet ,which had been in cowboy boots all day, as a symbol of showing how he wanted to serve her like Jesus Christ served those around him. Mic drop moment right there. Seriously though, these two love those around them well and their laughter, smiles, and joy pours out of them – and it’s reciprocated. Their family members were so excited for this moment – Kayley’s dad jokingly pushed the couple down the aisle and during the daddy-daughter dance called Isaiah over to transition the dance to him to show his love and support. Not many eyes were dry when Isaiah danced with his grandma to “You Raise Me Up” in the spot of the mother-son dance, as his mom who was in attendance had an unfortunate horse accident during his childhood which led his grandparents to do most of the raising of him in his life. So many more moments we could share about, but for space and you to have the chance to look at the photos, we’ll hold to ourselves. Such a special day. Kayley and Isaiah, you made it! As we told you all along, the goal by the end of the day is to be married and everything else is bonus! Did things go absolutely perfect at every moment? No. Did you roll with it? Yes! Did it get back on track and turn out more amazing? Absolutely! You two are now into this next chapter of your life and we pray that you start a strong foundation, develop some great communication skills, and continue to remember why you picked each other in the first place. Congrats, you two! Thanks for asking us to capture your day!
