Minnesnowta Downtown Minneapolis/Stone Arch Bridge Rooftop Wedding

We met Katelyn & Carlos a month prior to their wedding day at Katelyn’s brother’s wedding at Redeemed Farms. They asked to talk with us fast as we were loading up to go home, so we stepped outside of the barn, and they shared they were engaged, getting married, and looking for a wedding photographer the next month – we so happened to have the day open, so we setup a time to meet them for coffee and chat more about their wedding day! And here we are, less than a month later getting to share photos from their wedding day. They told us it would be a rooftop wedding downtown, but you can’t describe the view with words until you actually see it!

On the 18th story of their friend’s condo, literally steps from the Stone Arch Bridge” and looking at the Minneapolis skyline, these two said, “I do.” They said it in both English and Spanish, as Carlos is from Colombia, so many of his amazing family members braved the Minnesota weather to come and be a part of their day. And brave it they did indeed! Minnesnowta turned up during the ceremony, throwing “Dippin Dots” (as Mark called them) at us right as they were putting on the rings and going for the kiss! These two didn’t let that stop them from enjoying their day, they laughed hard, embraced the moment, and even stepped back out after sunset to get a shot with the snow falling in the sky.

Katelyn and Carlos, thank you for a beautifully unique wedding day. Thank you that you trusted us so quickly! We feel like you became lifelong friends that day, and we were so honored to even get to sit at your table during dinner! You had such an intimate, precious wedding day, and we loved every moment of it – especially the fun handmade & designed details that made their way from Colombia.
