A match made in Heaven! Sabrina and Lukas? I was talking about Mark and Lukas, but those two are pretty adorably matched also! We met up with these two a few weeks back and chatted all things while doing their engagement photos at Afton State Park – and laughing all the way!

Shortly into our time together, we realized that Lukas is a fellow COD-enthusiast. That’s Call of Duty for all those out there not in the gaming world. He also is a mechanic and, if you know Mark, that means Mark’s drooling. They chatted all things vehicles as well as about their pocket knives while Sabrina and I walked along giggling at how excited they were. You read that right. Men can have a blast while shooting engagement photos!

Okay, okay. You’re not hear to read about how much fun Mark and Lukas had, you also want to get to know this adorable couple and we get that! Well, Sabrina and Lukas? Met as juniors in high school. Cue the “awwwwwwww.” They followed each other to college at Winona and have been pretty inseparable since – including taking a trip to California during the COVID-19 pandemic to buy a truck and then drive it back all the way to Minnesota. Talk about best friend status! These two love the outdoors, hanging with each other, and just having a good time.

And speaking of good times, we seriously had one! We can’t wait, Sabrina & Lukas, for your wedding next year at the Red Wing Golf Course! We’re already thinking through how much fun it will be to look out over the bluffs, chat about how you were right that our van motor was totally blown, and swap other crazy life stories with you two! Blessings on this stage as our world continues to change, but remember to build a strong marriage alongside building your wedding day!
