Ahh the preciousness of a newborn baby girl – you can’t help but want to snuggle with them (which is challenging considering all the social distancing going on these days!). We were so honored when Stephen & Lori asked us again to come into their home and document their newest bundle of joy. We spent a few moments indoors capturing the tiny features of their adorable little one – the tiny hands, cute button nose, and little toes – can’t help but love it! And then we spent of the rest of the evening out in their backyard amidst a beautiful late summer evening with cousins, grandparents, & family all around. There is something truly beautiful about this stage and how it brings us all together to love and support a new family. There is also something truly amazing about getting to watch as a family transitions from 5 to 6 (or any transitions at that matter). Stephen and Lori amaze me at how natural they seem – how laid back and at peace amidst the children wanting to ask questions, pop in to the photo, and run and play. It’s a testament to how these two parent, and I can personally say it has influenced me to slow down and calm my own soul instead of rushing about from one activity to the next. Because that’s the idea of life, right? To live in the moments with the ones that we are with and make the most of each moment – not allowing it to pass by. Wong family, thank you so much for the chance to observe and document such a precious stage! We are so excited to see you continue to grow and be stretched together and how you are leaning on each other as well as your belief in Christ as your foundation. We’re praying for you as you do this whole distance learning with four kids at home and you are our heroes!
